Tomorrow is officially 1 Year since i have started my blog. :)

And as you can tell, i'm in a completely different part of my life::

I'm getting married!

My hair is longer & a different color!

I have a new(old) Best Friend!

I'm an orthodontist assistant!

I have tamed by shopping addiction..partially!

I am now obsessed with Owls & Bird Cages!

I'm GETTING MARRIED!!

Anyways... i think it's pretty cool that i have kept it up, even tho my posts have been pretty uninteresting! :) 

Good for me.

Me & Nick have officially found a place to live in Bountiful, and i LOVE it.  

I like little houses, with character. The only problem with that is i don't realize the serious things that can be wrong with it-- Good thing i have Nick around to wake me up to reality!! haha  Alls i want is a Front porch. Thats it! 

I am discovering how easy i am to please. 

Our plugs only  have 2 holes so we have to buy those converter things to make it 3!. haha 

But, i couldn't be happier.

Well, here's to a Year with my blog and to me & Nick's future in are adorable house!! :)

I'm Extremely obsessed with Giuliana & Bill Rancic-  OBSESSED!!  

I watched Every episode of their reality tv show (multiple times), i tweet them often, & i DIE if i miss an episode of E News with Giuliana; she hosts it w/Ryan Secrest!

She is also on Fashion Police-  hillarious!

Bill Rancic won Celebrity Apprentice, so that may be where he looks oddly familiar.  How beautiful are they together?!

& i love this book because this about to be the next chapter of my life..

I LOVE THESE TWO!

I think they are what make me most excited about marriage. :) 

Ok, that sounds weird. But, its because they showed their lives on National TV, & showed the ups & downs of life and marriage. It looks fun!!!!

Although they live in 2 different cities; due to their jobs, they are still SO in love & would die for each other.

I'll be honest= i'm terrified to get married. Not the actual marriage part, but the Ceremony! 30 mins of my life and im stressing out; majorly! I mean, we have been doing really good with planning & getting things done.  

We even took this past weekend off & had fun!; We went to Lagoon!!  Nick was in a golf tournament Friday so i took some time to do absolutely NOTHING.   & it was Fabulous!

We did get engagements taken by my Best Friend on Thursday & so far i LOVE them.!

She's amazing right??!!

ok- time for the usual Sunday night. 

Get ready for work this week: get gas in the car, lunch money & makes sure scrubs are clean!

Make it or Break it.

I FINALLY got to see my Best friend after over a week!  an ENTIRE week w/out her is like a year w/out water.  
It was terrible.

We went shopping- of course- @ Victoria's Secret & looked for a place to take my engagement pictures this Thursday.  We choose an AMAZING spot.  -- i will never tell where!


I'm very torn on how to do my hair.  I'm such a simple person, & my hair is just usually straight! But i wanna spice it up a little!  I did curl it on sunday- which is now my blog picture, &  i love it- but my hair doesn't stay curled or have volume so thats why i never do it any other way besides straight!!
I do need to get a headband tho! That seems to add character quite nicely.


I also hope that Nick can find something to match my outfits!  We have 48hrs here!!!




On another note, i did find my wedding shoes & bra today!!  I think i'm about done with my part of this wedding!  I also booked a photographer for the Wedding Day!  I'm super excited- shes great!
Now, I just have to get my man a RING!--- :)

I do have a dress- and the place- which is good! But this wedding stuff is stressful!

Luckily I have a countdown on my phone & my computer to keep me in-line (or more stressed out?)

Anyways, my best friend has a boyfriend! & she's in love with him!

- they exchanged that "L word" on Friday!

Happy Mothers day to all you Amazing moms out there! I think we all know we would be dead without them! We went to my grandmas today & gave her some red Toms! It was adorable!

OK, i'm going shopping for wedding shoes & a bra tomorrow so i need some SLEEP! its been a LONG weekend.

Staple my armpits.

So, i daringly got Laser Hair Removal yesterday-- and let me share this traumatic experience with you:

random- yes

painful- mostly

exciting?- kinda

addicting-no

I found this deal on Groupon where it was $99 for 6 treatments- the norm- so i figured OH-why not?!  and i decided to be daring.  

I know NObody who has gotten laser hair removal before, and i experienced exactly why!...

I got it on my underarms.

I am self conscious about stupid little things like that.  

I don't care if my arms are hairy, or my legs have stubble, but my ARMPITS--i would rather die than have people see that business. 

(I'm beginning to think i have anxiety issues)

This isn't like a tattoo-.  Trust me.  

The pain isn't the same.  It doesn't feel like one, it feels like STAPLES!!!!!!!!

You won't leave wanting more; (well maybe after my last treatment & i see amazing results)  

Anyways, i get there and the nice lady is like ok, take off your sweater, lay up here on this table.  They have on this relaxing music, and nice wallpaper---  it TRICKS YOU.

She like rushingly tells me about it, blah blah blah--- i ask her if she has had it; her response was "i had it 12 years ago, and i shave only maybe once every other week- sometimes i get these long hairs that i could Braid"   EWWW_- T.M.I lady!

So i go on asking her if it hurts, how would she describe it-- and she goes "Yes, it hurts everyone."  I start to freak out! It was obviously too late for numbing cream.

I yell @ Alex to come sit next to this torture table so i can squeeze the guts out of her hand.

She puts on some gel & i tell her to SLOWLY start, so i can get a feel for this business.

As she starts, its slightly piercing, not terrible but it definately wasn't comfortable.  She goes over it about 3,4 times and im starting to feel this heat up.  It gets stronger, and i start to feel sharper pains.  She switches sides & it took about 5 mins MAX for both armpits.

I would describe it as staples, or a pin stabbing you.  This isn't just surface pain, it goes to the root of your hair..   YIKES!

It really wasn't that bad, but then she tells me the next time i come, she turns the laser up to get deeper. (obviously).  We were @ a 24 today & to finish we will be on a  30!

WOOOOWWW.

Beauty is pain.

I will survive.
