I watched an amazing episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition (as did half the world) tonight and i am MOVED.
It was a story about a girl who died her senior year on her way to high school while texting & driving.
She's beautiful. Was excited for college & her future. No one expects things like this to happen to them. The family kept her wrecked truck & hauls it around to high schools to encourage kids to stop texting while driving.
There really isn't Anything that important that you must text while driving. Distractions play a big part in car accidents and there is enough w/out adding your cell phone to the road.
She has a pledge that i want Everyone who reads this to take.
You WILL stop texting.
I have already taken it & am committed to leaving my cell phone in my purse while driving.
The roads themselves are dangerous.
Be smart.
