Sugar Lips.

I used to love going to the dentist. Enjoying getting cavities filled & having that gas that would relax me enough to Like drills making holes in my teeth. This perspective changed today. I had to get some cavities filled on the lower left side of my mouth. Usually they give you some gel to numb your gums before shoving the needle into them. Today, the dentist seemed rushed as he walked in, stood over me and rubbed some gel in Area and immediately following just Stuck that needle in my gums! I have NEVER experienced more pain in my mouth (except for the other day when i sneezed while putting on mascara & my jaw popped WAYY out & it hurt like he!!). He poked and poked some more as i felt the stinging of the numbing run thru. As tears fell down my cheeks, he poked it a little more and said, "Be right back!"I loved that we changed dentists. This Dr. really is good! But he was so rushed that i was even more nervous. The numbing set in Immediately! & the process was painless. I'm still currently numb- 4 hours later. & it HURTS!! I feel like my lip is as big as Angelina Jolie's.!

Then, yesterday morning as me and Elyse were getting ready to leave for work. I had this brilliant idea to have a bagel!! I grabbed the bread "cutco" knife as always and started slicing thru towards my hand. I slip, knife slices me open & a fountain of blood is pouring out! I run to the sink and start running water; first instinct! Not that its helping because blood just keeps on coming! So elyse runs out and bandages me up. I'm crying @ this point from the trauma, cuz it honestly didn't really Hurt. Its just a shock when you see a knife go through your skin & a pool of blood. Call me crazy!

Anyways, i get bandaged up. We got to Thirsty Thursdays & im off to work! I was manager that day & was late :/ But i had a pretty good excuse!

People who know me know i can tolerate Most pain. If i'm complaining, its GOT to be serious.

I'm doing all right. I just am gaining pure respect for people who only have use of one arm! Its NOT easy. It takes longer to shower. Its complicated to wash my hair. I can straighten it by myself. I can barely type. Its hard to put deodorant on & lotion.

If this ruins my vacation, i will be livid.

Road Trip!

It is the time for our annual drive to the beautiful states of Idaho/Montana/& Washington to see my BEAUTIFUL family. haha But seriously, this is something we do EVERY summer since my Dad's family lives out of state and this is the only time we get to see them. His family is Crazy! literally.

But i love seeing them. We only made it to Missoula, MT last year because my sister couldn't get enough time off to go all the way to Washington to my Grandmas. We met up with my dad's best friend Larry. And lemme just show you how cute together they are...

Classic right?? You should see these too! They are hilarious!! They get laughing SO hard they are crying & squirming like a fish out of water.

Anyways, we went to lunch & shopping with them and it was super fun.

So, since Elyse works @ Hertz, we always rent a sweet car to drive there that 1) is bigger than any car we (will ever) own 2) makes us look wayy cool & 3) i dont have to have my arm/leg touch Anyone elses for the 14 hour drive! I love it. The past few years we have rented a QX56 or something Huge like that. & this year we have toned it down to a Chevy Traverse ? i think. It has TWO sunroofs! I couldn't be more satisfied.

Since i've started this P90X crap, i have tried to be more cautious about what i eat. FAIL! & vacations = JUNK FOOD! constantly. In the car for over an hour makes you bored, so you eat. Hungry along the way but have to hurry, you stop for fast food. You are staying @ a hotel, you go OUT to eat for dinner. We always seem to have somewhat of healthy meals @ my gmas. But she seems to like vegetables & meats; which i HATE! Needless to say, my diet plan will fail even more.

Vacations are always nice to get away from the real world. You have NOTHING to worry about while your away. And i love vacations w/my family especially. First of all, they are a blast: as long as we can all get along. and believe me, its TOUGH! Second, they pay for almost everything (no complaints :) ) & Finally, you make memories that you prolly never would make just at home. Honestly, a vacation for my family- even to somewhere like Park City or Bear Lake is a BIG Deal! We never really go out other than birthday dinners and the occasional Saturday morning trips to Home Depot (i hate that place). We don't enjoy the outdoors. My parents don't like being around LOTS of people. We like sports. Sports events. And dinner @ places where sports are playing. Meet the Williams.

Anyways, i'm about to get off work. Time to find something for me & Nicholas to do tonight.

These past two weeks have been SO fun!

Last Tuesday me & Nick went down to Seven Peaks waterpark. That was a blast! Friday, Me & Nick went to see "The Killers" w/his little sister and her friends.

Saturday we went to Wiseguys. It was a hypnotist. Hillarious!!!

Sunday there were fireworks @ Weber State that we & his family attented.

MONDAY: i started P90X w/Kirsten. I am in for it! i'm on day 5 & it's not too bad yet. I've had only 2 Dr. Peppers. And i seem to be dealing w/the caffeine addiction headaches quite well.

Tuesday was the aboslute worst day for it. Pyrometrics. I have NEVER been in more pain. Ever!

Wednesday: I started back up interning! I forgot how much i LOVE being an orthodontic assistant! I also applied for a job in Layton that called my Ortho school looking for girls! Cross you fingers!

Thursday: Me, Nick, the lil sis Jordyn & her friend spent the day @ Lagoon! The little ones met up with their "boy-friends" & us wise old ones went ot Lagoon-A beach! IT was HOT! We ended the day w/my P90X workout. & i made Nick participate in the hour and half yoga :) hillarious.

Today i'm back @ work. I've had the past 2 weekends off so being here this weekend is going to be tough for me. No one likes to work weekends.

But, hopefully i get to spend most of it with my best friends. Tonight Jordyn is in this "Day of Celebration" thing for the youth in the church. 3,000 kids on Weber State's football field. & I'm not allowed to skip out.

I want to have a sleepover tonight and since most of my night will be taken up w/the family, THEY BETTER LET ME!! Oh well, guess i better enjoy time w/them while i still can! (thats what your supposed to say in case your mom reads it)

& as you can see.. we ENJOY quality time together! :)

Hot Mess.

Stadium of Fire was FANTASTIC!!! Carrie was AMAZING ( no surprise there) & Kirsten was Great company!

As we headed South to the Stadium, we happened to make some friends! Kirsten & her charm attracted this bullet bike man who was patting the back of his bike for her to join! We couldn't stop laughing/being shocked out of our minds that ANYONE would do that. He pulled up literally 3 inches next to my car waiting as i threw an envelope in Kirsten's face to write her number on for him. I was more nervous of him scratching my car or crashing than i was that Kirsten was giving her number to a COMPLETE stranger!! Later on he text us saying he's from Cali & is 24.. blah blah blah. His life was super lame so we stopped talking to him. There's just Something about Cali boys....

Anyways,We stopped @ In N' Out for dinner before we headed to the stadium. I just wanted to go there before i died. & i think i would have rather died w/out eating there. It was Foul! Disgusting! No flavor. Nothing special. The only good thing about that place was they had Dr. Pepper! :)

First of all, we go out to my car to eat it, & they screwed up our order! I said NO pickles. (I'm sure having 3875 people there didn't really help them get things right either) Kirsten didn't want tomatoes. so what does she do? THROW THEM OUT MY CAR WINDOW> right as an escalade is pulling up! You shoulda seen both their faces....

Haha . The guy was actually laughing at kirsten cuz her reaction time was SO fast to cover her mouth that had just hit the floor of my car. I mean how can you not laugh? So we decided to drive off. I drove 3 spaces & Kirsten was NOT satisfied. We had to actually leave the parking lot. ha My bad..

Anyways, once we joined the 3,000 cars lined to the stadium we got out the good old Google Map to help us find it! Our friend lives down by the stadium so we were just going to park in his driveway to help save time. & car accidents. But he lived much too far. And Provo roads are COMPLICATED! People were literally getting out of their cars to yell @ us for being in the wrong lane & blocking traffic. We were shocked. It was already 8:00 & no one has patience.

We finally decided to just park by the rest of the 50,000 people @ this park. And Kirsten decided to stalk this couple & follow them thru neighborhoods to get to the stadium. WE MADE IT ON TIME!! It was a miracle. The concert had this amazing violinist girl & the 2nd Generation Osmonds open. Carrie Underwood sang the National Anthem & there were some dancers & Eagle Scouts. Then it was time for H E R!

I'm super jealous she can wear a simple sequin t-shirt, shorts, & cowgirl boots and look GORGEOUS!!!!!

Anyways, the fireworks show was A M A Z I N GGGGG!!!! && they had a little scenery thing @ the end too. Telling about the history of America. (we left during this part)

There are some creative people behind the scenes of this concert. I loved it.

As we were walking back, the fireworks were setting off car alarms!!! they were SOO loud & pretty. ANd of course, we got lost walking back to the car. haha

If i didn't have Kirsten, i think i would still currently be in Provo.

It was totally worth it tho!
