Gotta..

I stole this from a blog i read, & its FUNNY! so i had to post it..

Truths

  • I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
  • Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
  • I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
  • There is great need for a sarcasm font.
  • How the are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
  • Was learning cursive really necessary?
  • Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
  • Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
  • I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.
  • Bad decisions make good stories.
  • You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.
  • Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.
  • I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.
  • "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this - ever.
  • I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? **** it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?
  • I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
  • I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
  • I think the freezer deserves a light as well.
  • I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.
  • Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it.
  • I would rather try to carry 10 over-loaded plastic bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.
  • The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.
  • I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
  • How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?
  • I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!
  • Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
  • Is it just me or do high school kids get dumber & dumber every year?
  • There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
  • Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from; this shouldn't be a problem....
  • While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.
  • Lol has gone from meaning, "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing else to say"
  • I think everyone has a movie that they love so much; it actually becomes stressful to watch it with other people. I'll end up wasting 90 minutes shiftily glancing around to confirm that everyone's laughing at the right parts, then making sure I laugh just a little bit harder (and a millisecond earlier) to prove that I'm still the only one who really, really gets it.
  • Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you're going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the direction from which you came, you have to first do something like check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you're crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk.
  • As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate bicyclists.
  • Even if I knew your social security number, I wouldn't know what do to with it.
  • I like all of the music in my iTunes, except when it's on shuffle, then I like about one in every fifteen songs in my iTunes.
  • Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
  • Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet my everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

Calendar Pages.

This morning consisted of:
- a bowl of captain crunch
Beauty Babble Blog-  Follow :)
-painted my nails.
-wrapped presents.
-read Teen Vogue, & Cosmo

Then, i decided it was about time i blogged.
I have had a blank page up to start for the past week, and i just can't seem to sit down long enough to blog.
I've had a lot on my mind.

2010: i don't think i've had a better year.
The first half was a little rough, but good things always happen eventually.
Wait around for something completely unexpected.

This point at last year, i was a mess.  I had no idea where i was going, or how to get where i wanted to be.  I was still at my high school job, & completely hating it.  I had almost finished my Orthodontic Assisting school & was SO excited to get out and find a job in that field. To actually start a Career.!
After graduating high school, life does hit you a lot faster than you ever expect.  I had been out for 2 years, and had accomplished nothing.  I didn't want to go to college, i just wanted to work & make $$. Moving out and being independent was the farthest i could see.
I was dating someone i thought of as an "escape." I couldn't quite grasp reality.
The goals i was setting were so far away from meeting.
I was daring. I experienced some of my rebellion side.

Spring of this year had to be the point in my life where i grew up. I realized who i most wanted in my life, who i wanted to stop hurting, and i gained happiness in freedom.
I did a quick turn around, and started looking for something New.
I met some of the most important people in my life in casual outings.
One i never expected the outcome to be what it has been.  <3
Some things can catch you off guard, especially when you least expect it!

The other, was on August 10th. I was on my way home from vacation this summer. I had heard from all my friends that they were getting Ortho-assisting jobs and i felt like i was the only person w/out one. I got offered an interview but was out of town & then my friend Got the job there!
I was really bummed.
Driving home,  i was checking Facebook on my phone.  There was an email from a friend whom i had lost contact with since jr. high.  I read it, and couldn't stop Smiling as it reflected upon the memories we had made together. As i began writing her back, i got a phone call.
It was from an Orthodontic office i had interviewed at before i had left for vacation.  They were calling for a 2nd interview!!
It could not have been a better moment! I was really excited!!
I emailed her back giving her my number & told her to text me later to set up a time to have lunch & just meet up since it had been SO long since we had talked!
I got the job later that week & met up with her for lunch the next.
After starting to work at that office, i started to realize the things i had heard about the office were true. & that i didn't absolutely love it.  I had submitted an application to another office the end of my first week. I literally wanted to go home in tears everyday, so something had to change.
The day before i went to lunch with my friend, i had an interview at the office i had submitted my resume to, Bountiful Orthodontics.
Lunch was Great & it was soo fun to catch up on everything! The funny thing was, we both has so many similar experiences that had both happened so recently.
Needless to say, me & Alex became inseparable a few weeks later.
I have thee most incredible best friend! (again)
I did get the job at Bountiful Orthodontics and i could NOT be happier!
I am completely in love with the boy i met casually at the bank.
I have the best family in the world, and i love them!!

I have met some of the greatest people this year. And i wouldn't change how much i've gone thru to get where i am.  I do think everything happens for a reason.

I am truly Blessed!
