Last weekend, me & Nick went to Frightmares. Lagoon seems to get less & less fun the more i go. Which is fine, i could do Much more with $42 then scream my lungs out! (kidding, i never have payed full price to get in Lagoon. pfftt) Anyways, it was terrible. Luckily it was freezing so no one could tell if i was scared or just cold as i clung tightly to Nick's side the Entire night. As soon as 4:03pm hit, the monsters came out! The lines for the Haunted Houses started getting longer and longer ; which was also fine since i absolutely HATE going in them.
As we were standing in line to go into somebody's "junkyard", there were monsters creeping all around us. As i stood cautiously looking each way every .6 seconds, i kept an eye on the ones closest to me. The sun was setting behind us, and thats where i was most watching out so they wouldn't creep up on me. The shadow of some guy with messed up hair & a creepy walk starting coming towards us! (like i said, the sun was setting all you can see is a shadow outline) As i grasped Nick's arm i told him to look back at the guy that was coming! He couldn't see him and i was NOT letting him get close to me. I switched sides i was standing on, and turned to see the guy coming into view. As he was next to us, i realized it was just a normal kid :( He must have hurt his leg & decided not to do his hair that day.... ? hahahah It was a good laugh!
We LOVE hypnotists and there was one going on that night. So we went to that, and as it was about to start, the creepy chainsaw guys/girls all came to the stage! I, of course, was on the end of the aisle and did NOT want them near me. They started dancing & being Funny! I still was creeped out, but they really put on a good show! Great dancers. Such personality! The hypnotist was pretty funny also; they always are!
As we left that, the sun had set and it was starting to get dark. Perfect. Those chainsaw creeps were walking around the park & i didnt like it. Not one bit. They were all nice to little kids, Waving & such. But thats about it! They are FREAKS! Getting humor out of little girls screaming... BUT, Frankenstein, Cleopatra, Dracula & those people who put on a show had incredible makeup! They walked next to us in the park & they looked GREAT!!!!! i was impressed! The park itself looked fabulous! I loved it.
Needless to say, i will not be returning to Frightmares
ever again! Or anything haunted at that!
I HATE HALLOWEEN! The only options you have are to be Gory, Slutty, or Scary. How is that fun? Maybe if i enjoyed even One of those categories, i could see the thrill in Halloween. Besides the candy, there is nothing enjoyable about it in my opinion. But me and Nick did paint our pumpkins this weekend!!!!
