You ever have those mornings where your wide awake @ 5 a.m. and wondering how this could be since you were beyond exhausted the night before? This would be me about five hours ago. I lay there tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable spot but it just wasn't happening. I then sit up and opened my blinds to see that the sun wasn't even awake yet! This was just ridiculous. On a day i could actually somewhat sleep in, I can't. Typical. I begin looking around for my bag that has the book "The Last Song" in it. After stretching my abdomen across the room reaching for the bag (why get out of bed if its not necessary?),i feel around on my desk for a flashlight.. Got it! I then click it on to find that the battery is Dead! You would think I would be exhausted enough to fall back asleep by now, right? Negative. I feel around my bed to find my cell phone to use as my light, got my pillows situated upright & begin reading. I only got to the 2nd chapter before my eye lids started to get heavy. By then it was about 5:45 and i figured why not go back to sleep.
The next thing i know, i wake up to my dogs collar jingling down the hallway. I look over @ my phone to see it reading 8:54!!! I'm supposed to be to work in 6 minutes & it takes me 12 to get there. Lovely.. I frantically jump out of bed, run to the bathroom & brush my teeth. I text my manger asking if he was awake cuz i wasn't going to be there in time to open. He lives like 4 minutes away so he would make it. He just texts me back "Hurry!" I change into my wonderful Toads attire, grab my make-up bag & a hat and dart out the door!
When i arrive @ 9:14, i notice ONE other car in the parking lots besides mine; the managers! We over-reacted for nothing. Usually golfers are here by 8:00 so thats all i was concerned about. I walk up to the door to find the owner & his dog sprawled out on the couch. What a great image to start my morning with. I go inside and go straight to the mirror to put my face on. I went to the dermatologist last week & he gave me this medicine for my face that has really dried it up! Then, yesterday me & my friend Aimee brilliantly decided to go tanning. We go for like 17 minutes like usual and it was fine. Little did we know, the girl gave us NEW BULB beds w/out informing us of it. I would like to personally thank her for my Lobster colored body & face thats on
F I R E!!!!
Anyways, so i put like 3 gallons of moisturizer on it and watched half my face's skin shed before i could put something to cover up the redness. I look horrible, but its my fault!
This weather is definitely not helping my day get any better either! The dark clouds, rain, then hail have all luckily passed over now but this wind is bitter!! I just cant wait to get home and rub aloe vera ALLLL over my body. & shower! i hate not having time to shower in the mornings! :( i got delicious new perfume tho, so i dont stink. Promise! Tonight i'm going to Salt Lake so i'm hoping it gets nicer and warmer cuz i dont have anyyy cute clothes that are warm. :/ I did get a new hoodie, but thats for like lazy outings to the grocery store & stuff.
If only...
HA!!
Well, i'm going to continue sitting at work w/my ice cold Dr. Pepper & watch Night @ The Museum. Hopefully people come golfing or else i might fall asleep..
